While working closely with self-help groups (SHGs), Sonia observed a major challenge—the constant need for these women to travel from city to city to sell their products at exhibitions. Understanding the financial and physical strain this placed on them, she envisioned a solution that could empower them without leaving their homes. This led to the creation of Woman Care Shopping, an e-commerce platform designed to help SHGs sell their handmade, traditional products online, promoting convenience and sustainability.

Sonia’s initiative aims to not only empower women but also promote the rich art and culture of India on a global scale.
